MentalTheft was born from our founder, Paul Newton, realising that he had a particular set of skills - using concepts of magic to social engineer situations - just like a scammer and cyber criminal would. Using his background in entertainment, this has led to him becoming one of the most prominent cyber keynote speakers in the world.
What We Do
Whether it is through keynote talks, regular content or through the MentalTheft book, MentalTheft is dedicated to helping keeping as many people as possible safe from cybercrime. It's not about a lecture - we understand that cyber security is a dry subject!
That is why we use our skills to make things entertaining and engaging first, and informative as a byproduct.
Paul Newton
Paul Newton has had a long and varied career, working in entertainment, corporate, psychometrics, and many other roles. As a full time magician, he once did mind reading, ending up taking the wrong type of data from the wrong person... As a result, he understood how dangerous his skills were, and MentalTheft was formed.
As a leading keynote speaker, he then used lockdown to launch the extremely successful MentalTheft book.
Now, along with a lot of incredible people he has met along the way, Paul is looking at turning MentalTheft Training into something that can help keep even more people safe.
